So, Skyrim Wants Me To…

…join a racist faction, destroy a city, kill innocents by the dozens, kill a dragon who has been innocent and helpful, steal from poor families, kill innocent wildlife, promote religious hatred, be a vicious and violent loan shark, and burn down a bunch of beehives.

But you don’t actually have to do any of those things. They’re suggestions, but you ultimately get to choose what to do.
