The ad is for a mail-order bride service. It’s more than just “rapey undertones.” It’s about prostitution, likely forced, and actual rape.veraliana submitted:
There is so much wrong with this. From the lack of organs to the butt displacement to the calf about to snap off to the headline.
A) Isn’t this kind of a bad idea? Using photoshop to set a standard you might not be able to deliver?
B) I wonder if she consented to her image being used, much less being altered. I (and people I know) have had experiences of dating/sex sites using images of amateur photos without the permission of the owner.
C) She looks like she’d be conventionally attractive even before the photoshop, and I doubt any new people would be attracted, but I bet some people would go “WTF” so this might be counter productive.
It’s also “can’t say no” instead of, say, “won’t say no”. Hooray for rapey undertones! That’s not creepy or disturbing at all!
Maybe it’s not actually a dating site. Maybe they just sell sex dolls with bizarre proportions.
